Miss F Universe 2015: Hail The New Queen
After hosting a very successful Mister Fahrenheit 2015 last June, F Club owned Mr. Wilbert Tolentino (the very first representative of the Philippines in Mister Gay World), did it again with a bang to welcome August with its Miss F Universe 2015.
The gorgeous crown of Miss F Universe 2015
Would you believe that Miss F Universe, a parody for Miss Universe, has been the country’s longest running and only Category B gay beauty pageant which started 2003. Just to give you an idea what a Category B gay beauty pageant is, let’s us be educated with our country’s leading independent beauty contest blogger, www.normannorman.com which Mr. Norman Tinio owns. Here is the difference:
Gay beauty pageants in the Philippines are labeled in two categories based from the gay orientation of the contestants.
Category A pageant is mostly for Transgenders and contestants who have undergone surgeries or have taken enhancements for female transformation, while Category B pageant is mostly for Gay-Males, Bisexuals and for Straight-Acting Gay delegates. Sometimes, some pageants can be both.
It was said to be that Miss F Universe was just an experiment made by Mr. Ryan Soto, co-owner of F Club. But with its initial successful, it became an annual event that it has become today.

In the end, it was Miss Puerto Rico ( Patrick Isorena) who bagged the Miss F Universe 2015 crown. Even before when I was given the chance to check out the contestants backstage, she was already a standout being the tallest among the contestants and one of the most poised. Not to mention that he is also the founder of one of the biggest bisexual groups in the metro taking with him a very large fan base rooting for him.

Patrick is a creative designer of STARR Creation. He is a Secondary Education major specializing in Theatre Arts and English at Philippine Normal University.
Patrick was raised only by his mom and aunt. His father left him when he was very young. But this didn’t stop him of his dream of becoming a fashion designer.
He is currently an in-house designer for Paradigm and One 690. He made costumes for Paolo Ballesteros and the National Costume of Angelee Claudette Delos Reyes(Miss Earth Philippines) where he collaborated with Edwin Uy. Patrick is known for his avant-garde couture.
This was his second time joining a gay pageant, both for Miss F Universe. Last year he landed 1st place.

Poise plus elegance plus the fab gown made Miss Ukraine the rightful winner of Best In Long Gown
Miss Popularity: Miss Iraq

Lifetime Achievement Award: Miss Netherlands
They say it must be “age before beauty.” But Miss Netherlands proved that you can have both paralleling each other. He even was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for bringing in life to the pageant in the number of times that he has joined before. (Awarding him is Mr. Wilbert Tolentino, owner of F Club)
Q&A
Of course, a pageant wouldn’t be complete without the Q&A portion. And gays as we are, we really are so particular in giving out the best possible answer in this portion. Here is a rundown of the answers that they gave.
Question: If an alien would arrive and watch the 13th annual search for Miss F Universe for the first time, what do you think will they say about humanity?
Miss Iraq sizzled and started the Q&A portion where he confidently and fluently answered that “alien would see that there is hope in humanity.” And personally, I think that he gave the best answer by far during the night.
Miss Iraq: There is hope in humanity
Miss Puerto Rico: Alien will say that we are beautiful. Beautiful people who fight for each other.
Miss Venezuela: A beautiful creation of God with diversity.
Miss Angola: Humanity is happy. Whatever they do they smile and remain positive.
Miss Philippines: Alien will be insecure with my beauty.
