AVES Community-Based Organization Inc., a SEC Registered NGO for HIV Awareness and LGBT Rights, launched its “I Am FEARLESS Photoshoot.”
This is an advocacy photoshoot that will feature the faces of people who are FEARLESS enough to discuss HIV awareness and to fight the stigma. Portraits from the photoshoot will be used for online campaigns and exhibits which will run in celebration of World AIDS Day.
Some of the notable participants from the previous shoot are James Deakin, Samira Gutoc, Albert Gonzales Fontanilla (fashion designer), Gerry Ereñeta (jewelry designer) and Jeremiah Tomas (Mr. Chinatown 1st RU).

The official photographer and creative director of the shoots is Cindy Aquino, a FEARLESS Filipina who won the 2013 Photo Award in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Notable for her works featuring gender equality and diversity, Cindy was able to successfully showcase her world-class masterpiece through exhibits in different places such as Europe and the United States.
The finale photoshoot of “I Am FEARLESS” is on November 16, 2019, which will be held at the Garage X Studio, 11-A, Masikap St., Brgy. Pinyahan, Quezon City. Coinciding the final shoot will be the inspirational talk of Nanay Elena Felix on how becoming FEARLESS helped her face the challenges of being a Person Living With HIV (PLHIV) for 25 years.
