The sun’s rays flashed into my face

Sign that I woke up with unpredictable grace

Bended my body, I knelt facing the east

Hoping my totality be part of the feast.

My feet tremble as I hear the sounds of the people

They already came out with pride and conviction

Some marched in distant origin while others came in

They’re already waiting for me, excited for battle cry and cuddle.

There’s a lot of sadness but I must look forward to more happiness

Though I’m afraid with unsecured days, I should not hide my weakness

There are thousands of questions answered by cry

And it’s time to step out to answer the biggest why.

I step out into my room, leaving the unwanted dream

Time to forget the past for I no longer wanted to scream

My nightmare just jailed me behind the bars of wickedness

Turned me into a slave who slowly dying under cruelness.

I saw the reflection of my whole nakedness

Built with fair and attracting man’s facial feature

I can’t resist the reminders of the mirror and thought the future

Doubts in my personality do not belong to my wholeness.

Time to come out in the closet! My feet is ready to stand up with conviction

I’m a man who desires the best for my man without any contradiction

Who can really define the real love if love for me is better than your definition?

And YES! I wanted it to be real ’til forever not just in books written in fiction.

Stepping out the bathroom was quite hard, with cold and fear

My heart was running faster than the heart of an angry bear

But I said to myself ‘It’s time to conquer my fear and move as one again’

I’m ready to give them a hug, and this is not a bargain!

Just like the people outside who came out with pride

I’m now convicted of carrying their flag and taking a long ride

For I’m no longer an ignorant wicked being

who can’t fight for their right and stand like a knight.
