We have seen it all when it comes to cyberbullying on different social media platforms. We have seen plenty of blank profiles with the audacity to malign and give harsh comments on posts, and even attacking people, online. But the cousins of social media, the hookup apps and dating apps, have its own counterparts.

Some even pointed out how self-stigmatizing the gay community is especially in causes like HIV awareness and the taboo that it entails.
Others claim that perhaps the issue turned an ember to a fire because it happened in a gay dating app.
